Church family we are very excited to announce that this year for Summer Reading Club we will be reading Confessions by St. Augustine, one of the most influential Christian pastors and theologians in church history. Written nearly 1,600 years ago, Augustine's testimony of God's grace, mercy, and transforming power has made it one of the most widely read works of theology in the history of the church.
Every Christian should read Confessions at least once. If you have never read a church father before, this is an excellent place to begin. Augustine's honesty about his struggles, his deep love for God, and his rich reflection on Scripture make this book a tremendous aid to spiritual growth. We hope you'll join us as we learn from a faithful brother in Christ whose voice still speaks powerfully to the church centuries later!
